Symptoms of Anxiety
Feeling nervous, restless, or tense
Having a sense of panic
Having an increased heart rate
Breathing rapidly
Sweating
Trembling
Feeling weak or tired
Trouble concentrating
A common sign of anxiety is feeling worried. You feel anxious and you don’t know what is going in your body. You just don’t feel right. Nervousness and paranoia are also felt. It is impossible to concentrate on anything except the thing that is worrying you. You start to sweat and start shaking uncontrollably. If you’re feeling any of these signs you have anxiety.
Causes of Anxiety
Emotional abuse
Difficult Experiences in childhood
Stress
These are some of the reasons for anxiety. Anxiety is caused by long term emotional abuse. You might not know that somebody is causing you great mental damage because you feel like your feelings are not valid and you’re always wrong. Sometimes the person that is causing you the great damage is one of your family members or a person you trust a lot. Childhood trauma also causes anxiety. The trauma can be caused by a small incident or a great loss, something that could have happened in your school or at your home. Stress is another cause: if you overload yourself with worries, you’re going to have anxiety. In other cases, anxiety can occur without a blatant cause, causing persistent distress.
Reducing Anxiety
Exercise
Meditation
Yoga
Rest
Stay hydrated
Meditation and yoga helps relax the body. It has great benefits both physically and mentally. Give yourself rest and drink lots of water.
Alleviate Anxiety
Leave the situation
Counting backwards
Write down your thoughts
Mindful Breathing
Lavender oil
Chewing gum
Breath in……Breath out…… Mindful breathing will calm down your anxiety. You can also talk to a close friend about your situation and you can write your thoughts in a diary. And if you are uncomfortable in a situation, leave it. You don’t need to be present there. Life is not going to end if you miss one class. Smelling lavender helps relax the brain, so try to keep lavender oil with you. Additionally, chewing gum can help distract the brain and calm down anxiety.
Don’t worry what will happen next or feel guilty over something you haven’t done. Don't think about the past and focus on the present. If you fail, it’s ok. Try again, you will surely succeed. Learn from the mistakes. You are the best version of yourself. Always love yourself to the fullest. I hope it helped. Prayers from Me.
